Announcing the Explore Nano program at the Minnesota Nano Center
The Minnesota Nano Center (MNC) is tasked by the National Science Foundation to support activities in micro- and nanoscale research and development nationwide, with particular emphasis in the upper Midwest. To further this goal, MNC is pleased to announce a special subsidy program aimed at helping external users (those not affiliated with the University of Minnesota) get started on projects. This program is called Explore Nano.
Under the Explore Nano subsidy program, which begins October 1, 2018, external non-UMN users who have not used MNC facilities since October 1, 2016 will receive up to $2,000 of training and facilities use charges. For those users traveling to MNC from outside the Twin Cities area, up to $500 in travel expenses may also be reimbursed.
To be considered for acceptance to the Explore Nano program, prospective users must fill out this brief application form.
